| Dear Member, |
Please find attached a copy
of my submission to the `Commission on the Powers and
Electoral Arrangements for Reform of the National Assembly
for Wales.'
Although the content is related to
my own views, it is approached from a Welsh Liberal
Democrat perspective.
My experiences as an MP and campaigner
during both the 1979 and 1997 Referendums are relevant.
This also relates to the process of putting the Government
of Wales Act onto the Statute Book in the House of Commons
in 1998. The subsequent operation of the National Assembly
for Wales to date is also a crucial factor.
Thank you for allowing me to make these
representations to the Richard Commission.
| Yours sincerely, |
